Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is very reasonable and competitive with the market. The carpenters, landscapers, roofers, siding, general contractors all make up their own prices and they are absolutely negotiable. We have a matching principle, which means if you have a written estimate from another company, we will beat it and we will try to do our best to give you the best most affordable price for your project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Being that we do have five companies under one roof, it is important for us for the customer to have the same experience as if they were working with just one company. For that reason we hired an individual, Michelle Burton to handle all incoming calls, scheduling, and material selection for the customer. Whereas the contractors provide the estimates, create all the listing of material, and perform the work. The customers always engage with Michelle Burton because she is bilingual and speaks both Spanish and English. This is done so that the customer has the perfect customer service experience when working with us.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Everyone on our team has been working construction jobs and renovation projects. For instance, our carpenter has a total of 20 years of experience in his trade that includes everything from framing, flooring, the renovations, additions all kinds of stuff in his trade. The roofer and siding contractor has at minimum 11 years of experience and he worked for a major construction company in Hampton Roads. The concrete individual has about seven years of experience and he has a crew about five guys that he’s been working with for about four years. The landscapers are a pair of brothers that I had started their business about five years ago but they factory actively been working in the industry for two years. Everyone on our team has at least $1 million worth of insurance for all of the work that they do. They are all qualified responsible and reliable contractors.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

During the pandemic many of the contractors that are listed in our company came together and decided to form one union where everyone would work collectively and collaborate to not only engage with the customer and find work but also to provide the customer the best price in one place. Doing so has caused us to have an opportunity to work each and everyone of our skill set and provide the best customer service and experience for all projects that we engaging.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have work with all sorts of customers from commercial to residential. We generally work with any customer that will treat our workers with decency and respect and know that everyone is not the same, meaning just because someone does not speak proper English does not mean that they are not qualified to do the job. All our contractors are either bilingual or speak very little English but as mentioned Michelle is the one that coordinates all of the discussions estimates, project details, and the customer experience. The contractors work directly with the actual physical project completing the job according to their trade and within their licensing. Our contractors are all legally able to work in this country while not speaking proper English. The best customer for us is one that understands that we are unique.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Most recently we replace the roof, siding, windows and doors of a property. This required all of the contractors to come together and work within their trade. We also finished all the landscaping for the property. The customer satisfied because everything was done through one company with a reasonable price and discounts discounts

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I think the best advice is to always follow your gut. There are a lot of companies out here that are just out to make a buck and not give the customer the best quality work possible. So if your gut is saying don’t do it don’t hire that person because at the end your gut will always be right.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would say the most important thing is the budget. Outlining the exact amount of money that you have to spend for the specific project will allow you to know who you can hire and who are you cannot. Many times you can get several estimates but they will likely be all about the same ballpark but if that estimate is over your budget then at that point you’re not able to do your project. Another thing is breaking down your project into smaller segments so that way you can get pieces of it done within your budget inn at the end have the outcome that you want for the entire project.
